Founded in 1991 by General Motors under the name Automotive Components Group and renamed Delphi Automotive four years later, this automotive parts manufacturer initially supplied a wide range of products—ranging from lighting to electronics and chassis components—primarily to its parent company, GM. The company's rapid development in the 1990s diversified its already extensive portfolio, leading to the establishment of additional factories across Europe and Asia. Delphi entered the Polish market in 1994, demonstrating sustained investment and growth. From its initial workforce of 250 in its first Polish facility, the company has expanded to employ 6,000 people across six production plants and a technical centre. Beyond the automotive sector, electronics produced by Delphi are also utilised in other industries, with clients including IBM, Northrop Grumman, and Boeing.

Delphi's product range is highly diverse, offering electronic and electrical equipment such as audio systems, displays, engine control components, safety enhancement systems, shock absorbers, vehicle security features, and braking system parts. In Poland, Delphi is a leading provider of shock absorbers, and its extensive range of high-quality automotive electronics has earned recognition from customers both domestically and internationally.
