Fagumit – Flexibility Rooted in Tradition
Fagumit, a Polish manufacturer of rubber hoses and synthetic materials, has its production facility in Wolbrom, Małopolska. The company is the direct successor of rubber factories established in 1908, which were part of the Stomil consortium during the interwar period and the PRL era.
In 1994, following a successful privatisation, the company adopted the name Fagumit. Despite the change, the firm remained focused on producing rubber hoses for diverse applications. Among its specialties are gas and fuel hoses. Fagumit is especially well-known for manufacturing hoses for gas installations, a key component of Poland's automotive market.
Thanks to its strong presence in the domestic market, Fagumit hoses are widely used in liquefied gas systems for engines. The company offers gas hoses, vacuum hoses, and water hoses, all essential for LPG installations. Fagumit also produces hoses for traditional fuels.
Fagumit Products – Tailored to Your Needs
Fagumit products stand out for their use of specialised rubber blends designed to transport a variety of media. This ensures durability, resistance to wear, and extended lifespan.
Hoses for LPG installations by Fagumit are crafted from NBR rubber (nitrile butadiene rubber), known for its low porosity and excellent gas-tightness. This material also offers chemical resistance to petrol, diesel, and hydraulic fluids. Reinforced with synthetic textile fabric, these hoses are protected against mechanical damage and abrasion.
Fagumit fuel hoses are similarly constructed but use an NBR-PVC (polyvinyl chloride) blend. This combination provides resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons and esters commonly found in petroleum-based fuels. Water hoses are made from flexible and durable EPDM rubber reinforced with textile braiding, while vacuum hoses are manufactured from non-reinforced NBR material.
Each type of Fagumit hose is tailored to specific functions and engineered to withstand various under-hood conditions. Whether for LPG systems or traditional fuels, these hoses maintain performance while resisting chemical and physical damage.
