Why Choose Fulda Products?
Founded in 1900 in Germany, Fulda takes its name from the city where it was established. Initially, the company produced rubber seals, washers, erasers, bicycle tyres, and tyres for horse-drawn carriages. However, as the automotive industry grew, Fulda shifted its focus to manufacturing tyres for automobiles.
After World War I, the company specialised exclusively in bicycle and automotive tyres, quickly earning a reputation for innovative products such as heavy-duty truck tyres. These tyres propelled Fulda’s popularity across Europe. Despite the devastation of World War II, the company continued its operations in the automotive industry, maintaining its dedication to quality and innovation.
In the 1960s, Fulda was acquired by American tyre giant Goodyear. This acquisition led to the development of low-profile tyres, a hallmark of the Y2000 series, designed specifically for sports cars. Today, Fulda offers a diverse range of products that cater to various vehicles, earning a loyal customer base worldwide.
Fulda's winter tyres, such as the Kristall Montero series, are particularly popular and have shown excellent performance in tests. The company’s ability to offer premium solutions for a variety of vehicles ensures its continued success and customer satisfaction.
