The transformation of a small Danish company manufacturing ropes, cords, and drive belts into a leading international producer of brake components began in 1903, when the company adopted the name A/S Roulunds Fabriker. In 1926, friction linings were added to the range of rubber products offered by the firm. Less than 50 years later, the brake system component research and development division, spun off under the name Roulunds Braking, brought the brand into the automotive market spotlight with its high-quality products. Since 2003, Roulunds Braking has been part of the American MAT Holdings group.

Thanks to the company’s extensive experience in producing friction linings, Roulunds Braking brake pads and discs designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles are renowned for their durability and reliability.
