The Thule company was founded in 1942 by Erik Thulin, a true outdoor enthusiast, in the deep forests of Småland, Sweden. Since then, we have focused on designing and developing high-quality products to help you transport your gear wherever your passion takes you.
- 1942: Thule is founded by Erik Thulin in Sweden
- 1962: Launch of Thule's ski rack – the first product for transporting sports equipment on car roofs
