HP ZUP Compression Pressure Tester HP917 000 00
Specification
Compression Pressure Gauge SPCS-17,5SK – with measurement recording and quick couplings
A modern compression tester designed for gasoline engines, equipped with a quick coupling system (SK) instead of traditional threaded connections. This solution significantly speeds up the installation of adapters, shortens diagnostic time, and increases work convenience in workshop conditions.
The SPCS-17,5SK model not only allows for measurement but also records results on measurement diagrams – up to 8 results from the tested engine's cylinders can be recorded on one sheet. This is an ideal solution for archiving results, comparisons before and after repair, and documentation for the customer.
Application:
-
measuring compression pressure in gasoline engines,
-
diagnosing wear of piston rings, valves, and head gasket,
-
comparing compression between cylinders,
-
documenting measurement results in the form of a graph.
Technical data:
-
Measurement range: 0.3 – 1.75 MPa (3 – 17.5 bar)
-
Quick coupling system (SK) – quick adapter exchange
-
Handle with starter switch – ability to control starting directly from the device
-
Recording results on diagrams (up to 8 cylinders on one sheet)

Why is it worth it?
Uneven compression is one of the most common causes of power problems, starting difficulties, and increased oil consumption. Thanks to the quick coupling system and result recording function, the SPCS-17,5SK enables quick, professional, and documented diagnostics.
Manufacturers of compression testers in adapter descriptions simplify
designations and only provide the nominal diameter of the spark plug thread
(e.g., 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm).
This is not the full thread name,
but it always corresponds to a specific metric thread type
Mxx×pitch.
That means:
| Simplified designation | Actual spark plug thread |
|---|---|
| 10 mm | M10×1.0 |
| 12 mm | M12×1.25 |
| 14 mm | M14×1.25 |
| 18 mm | M18×1.5 |
