BFT 320P - Brake Fluid Boiling Point Tester with Printer
ATE BFT 320P is a mobile, professional tester designed for precise measurement of brake fluid boiling point. The device uses the heating to boiling point method, which ensures laboratory accuracy regardless of the type of fluid.
Brake fluid has hygroscopic properties, meaning it absorbs water over time. This leads to a decrease in boiling point and an increased risk of vapor bubbles forming in the fluid. For this reason, brake fluid should be regularly checked in the workshop and replaced if necessary.
ATE BFT 320P Tester allows for the control of all standard glycol-based fluids, such as DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 with laboratory accuracy.
Boiling Point Measurement
The tester operates on the principle of the immersion and boiling method, which is the only way to accurately determine the boiling point regardless of the type of brake fluid.
The ATE BFT 320P device heats the fluid sample until it boils, and the obtained temperature is displayed on a clear screen and can be documented in print form.
The measurement process takes only about 30 seconds, and the result is displayed along with information on the necessity of potential brake fluid replacement.
This way, the decision to replace the fluid is based on actual data, not assumptions.
Mobility and Measurement Documentation
The ATE BFT 320P tester features a compact design and 12 V power supply, allowing for convenient boiling point measurement directly in the vehicle's expansion tank.
The set includes a test tube and pipette, which also allow for measurements outside the vehicle.
The integrated thermal printer enables quick documentation of the measurement result – both for the customer and for workshop needs. After the test is completed, the device automatically prints the result and the recommendation for fluid replacement in two copies.
