Brake Bleeding Device FB 30 S with a capacity of 30l with an integrated suction unit
Changing brake fluid in modern cars with electronic braking systems requires the use of modern service devices. Thanks to the innovative "electronic pressure regulation" (EDR) technology with variable and defined pressure levels and an integrated suction system, the new ATE FB 30 S device sets new standards among brake filling and bleeding devices.
The centrally located, ergonomic control panel allows for adjusting the operation of the ATE FB 30 S between suction and filling/bleeding functions. Indicator lights show the selected function. All functions are clearly arranged on the control panel. For filling, flushing, and bleeding the brake system, three pressure levels are available: 0.4/1.0/2.2 bar. Additionally, there is a variable pressure function available in the range of 0.4–3.5 bar. The selected pressure level can be controlled using a manometer.
Modern low-viscosity brake fluids place high demands on brake filling and bleeding devices. When creating the ATE FB 30 S, special attention was paid to safe operation with all popular DOT3 and DOT4 brake fluids. The ATE FB 30 S filling and bleeding device works directly with 5-, 20-, and 30-litre brake fluid containers, which are securely mounted using a bracket. No more time-consuming transferring of brake fluid. In addition to ATE brake fluid containers, other market-available containers can also be used. A special holder ensures the secure attachment of the suction lance in the container. The rubber sealing cone integrated with the vent valve allows air into the container only when the brake fluid is being drawn. This prevents uncontrolled air intake into the container. When the brake fluid container is empty, the ATE FB 30 S device automatically shuts off, ensuring that air is not forced into the brake system. A clear audible signal and indicator light inform about the need to change the container.
Professional brake fluid replacement also includes cleaning the expansion tank. For this purpose, the old, contaminated brake fluid is suctioned from the expansion tank. An integrated, independent, and exceptionally durable pump is used for suctioning the used brake fluid. Thanks to the extendable (approx. 3 metres) spiral hose and long suction lance, even hard-to-reach expansion tanks can be easily emptied. The filter built into the suction hose protects the suction pump from larger contaminants. The suctioned brake fluid is collected in a transparent collection bottle with a capacity of 2.2 litres. This bottle is adapted to the ATE disposal system and can therefore be emptied without any problems. It is also possible to empty the bottle in a conventional way through the cap.
bottle in a conventional way through the cap.
On the side of the ATE FB 30 S, there are practical holders for the filling hose and power cable, and on each side, there are three holders for bleeding adapters. The device features a practical tray for placing small parts and tools. Large front wheels combined with an ergonomic handle ensure convenient and safe positioning of the ATE FB 30 S device, even with a full 30-litre container. The ATE FB 30 S device is delivered with a bleeding adapter no. 20 (European adapter).
