A special package of enriching additives reduces the soot burning temperature in the particulate filter. This allows the soot to be burned off from the particulate filter during normal operation, enabling on-site regeneration of the particulate filter. An efficient DPF filter is extremely important for engine performance and emission levels. It prevents high maintenance costs. Maintaining the efficiency of the DPF filter prevents costly cleaning operations or repairs.
