It has a WiFi communication module that allows connection to the Tuya / Smart Life network. It can also be used as a standalone unit without the need to connect to an app. When connected to a home network, the detector will send alarm messages and any other notifications to the user's app in real-time. The device's housing incorporates a Test/Mute button that allows control of all detector functions, as well as disabling an accidentally triggered alarm (e.g., during cooking, frying).
