Dry lubricant is used for coating mechanical parts made of metal and plastics where no oil or grease residues are desired. Dry PTFE leaves no oil or grease residues (dry layer) and prevents wear and sticking. It has a very low coefficient of friction, excellent adhesion, and is resistant to weather conditions. It is suitable for components that operate under low load and low speed. It can also be used as a mold release agent where the use of silicone is not desired.
