At the Thule Test Center™ in Hillerstorp, Sweden, products are put through extreme tests. Our base rack systems are designed to fit your car safely and hold your gear. Below are some of the many tests we perform.

 

• Endurance test

Used to assess performance in conditions similar to those that may occur during equipment use in difficult or uneven terrain

• Wear simulations

Specialized tests used to assess the quality of roof racks over time. These tests evaluate the durability and functionality of the equipment in the long term, as well as the effectiveness of bike protection during transport.

• Exposure tests

Used to assess the durability of racks in conditions that may occur during their use. We expose bike racks to extreme temperatures, humidity, sunlight, and chemicals.
