The charger has a type 2 connector, which is currently the official standard of the European Union and charges electric cars equipped with the appropriate charging socket. The type 2 connector has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 are intended for charging, and 2 for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. The Qoltec charger supports four current intensity modes 8A, 10A, 13A, and 16A. It is worth adding that the type 2 connector is intended for electric vehicles with a charging power greater than 3kW.

The product is equipped with a multifunctional, 2.4'' LCD display and LED indicators informing about the charging status.

On the display, we can:

• set the current intensity value using the A button: 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A;
• check the exact charging time,
• set the charging time delay — just use the button with the clock icon,
• monitor the charger's operating temperature in real-time thanks to the built-in plug temperature sensor, the charger will immediately stop working if the safe value is exceeded and will automatically resume operation once the temperature returns to normal,
• monitor the progress of the charging process.

Automatic error correction

Additionally, the charger has an intelligent chip that automatically corrects errors during charging, appropriately responding if any parameter exceeds the norm, ensuring stable charger operation.

You can set a delayed start time for charging and save on energy costs, e.g., by using the night tariff, which is a more economical solution as it does not burden the system. Just connect the charger to the power supply and then press the delay button a specified number of times before connecting the car. Pressing the button with the clock icon delays charging by 1 hour with each click.

If you want to mount the EV charger on the wall, choose an appropriate place, preferably close to the car and power source. Ensure it is a place protected from moisture, free from any mechanical damage, and not exposed to direct sunlight. A high level of convenience will be provided by a 5-meter charging cable with an ergonomic plug.
