The charger has a type 2 connector, which is currently the official standard of the European Union and charges electric cars equipped with the appropriate charging socket. The type 2 connector has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 are intended for charging, and 2 for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. The Qoltec charger supports four current modes 8A, 10A, 13A, and 16A. It is worth adding that the type 2 connector is intended for electric vehicles with a charging power greater than 3kW.

• monitor the charger's operating temperature in real-time thanks to the built-in plug temperature sensor, the charger will immediately stop working if the safe value is exceeded and will automatically resume operation when the temperature returns to normal,
• monitor the progress of the charging process,
